What we look for in our educators

Deep subject knowledge & curiosity:
We look for educators that have deep subject knowledge, typically stemming from a genuine intellectual curiosity for their field.

Engaging teaching styles:
We like to work with educators that have a Socratic approach to teaching and build deeper understanding through question & answer – never by lecturing or presenting.

Digital fluency
We look for educators that have experience teaching online / have used different digital tools to keep lessons engaging in and seamless in an online setting (e.g., zoom whiteboard, google drive, etc.)

We provide students with everything they need to succeed academically in one place — from tutors and educational specialists to personalized content, study habits, discipline, and more.

What are your rates?

Our rates vary depending on tutor, subject, and experience (e.g., whether your are an examiner / content writer and your years of teaching experience). That said, across the board we are competitive. 

What is the time commitment given I teach full time?

There is no set time commitment - it’s flexible and up to you. Some tutors teach full-time with us (with many students), while others only part-time to complement their existing work.

What support and resources do you provide?

We provide all of our educators with multiple resources to help improve student outcomes. You get access to our full suite of teaching tools, including Zoom and Drive. Additionally, educators have access to our resource bank, which includes past papers, exam questions, and more. Every educator also receives access to our playbook and training series, as well as our ongoing community webinars where we continuously discuss strategies and tactics to help students achieve better results.
