Insights Prep LLC ("Insights Prep", "we", "us" or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy sets out how we collect, use, share and process identifiable information about you ("Personal Data") across our website and the services we provide, and explains your rights.
Our website may contain links to websites, platforms and services operated by third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to review them.
We collect Personal Data both directly from you and automatically when you interact with our website and services.
Directly from you, when you enquire about our services, complete a form, book a call, register for an event, or contact us: contact details such as name, email address and phone number; information about the student, such as first name, school and year group; details of the support you are looking for; scheduling information; and anything else you choose to share with us.
Automatically, when you use our website or open our emails: information about your device and your use of our website, such as IP address and other identifiers, pages viewed and how you arrived, collected using cookies and similar technologies as described in section 4.
If you provide us with Personal Data relating to another individual, you confirm that you are entitled to do so.
We use cookies when you interact with our website. Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We may also use similar technologies such as local storage, web beacons and embedded scripts. These help us remember your preferences, understand how our website is used, conduct market research, and gather information about the adverts you see and interact with.
Where you allow cookies, they help us to tailor our website and content to your preferences, keep track of your settings between visits, better understand your likely interests so we can show you more relevant Insights Prep adverts and content on other websites and apps, and improve how our website performs.
Some cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off. You can control the rest through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, parts of our website may not work as intended, and you will still see adverts, but they may be less relevant to you.
We do not sell your Personal Data. We may share it with:
We may share aggregated, anonymised information that does not identify you.
Where provided by applicable law, you may ask us to:
These rights apply to Personal Data we actually hold and may be limited, for example where the data must be retained to meet a legal or reporting obligation. To exercise them, contact us using the details in section 12. We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe, and if we cannot meet a request we will explain why.
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect Personal Data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. These include serving our website over an encrypted connection, restricting internal access to customer records, and placing confidentiality obligations on our team. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we will notify you promptly of any incident that materially affects your Personal Data.
We retain Personal Data for as long as we have a business or legal reason to do so. Enquiry records are kept for a reasonable period in case you return to us. Records relating to families who have used our services are kept for as long as required to meet our tax, accounting and legal obligations. Once no longer needed, Personal Data is deleted.
Our services are purchased by parents and guardians, and our forms are intended to be completed by them. We ask for limited information about a student, ordinarily a first name, school and year group, and ask that a parent or guardian provides it. Our website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data directly from a child. If you believe we have collected a child's Personal Data without appropriate consent, contact us using the details in section 12 and we will delete it.
We operate remotely, and work with suppliers who may store and process Personal Data in a number of countries. Your Personal Data may therefore be processed outside your own jurisdiction, in places that may not provide the same level of data protection. Where this happens, we take steps to ensure your Personal Data continues to be handled in a manner consistent with this policy.
We will update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology and legal requirements. If we make changes, we will revise the date at the top of this page and publish the updated version. Where a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
For any question, request or complaint about this policy or your Personal Data:
Please include enough detail for us to identify you and respond to your request.
